Our Materials

The materials used in our handcrafted jewelry are varied.  In our descriptions we list what each jewelry piece consists of.  The Summer Maiden uses quality findings and beads.  Materials used in our jewelry creations can include:

• Natural stones such as Jasper, Kynite, Unakite, Labrodorite
• Semi-precious stones such as Peridot, Topaz, Quartz, Citrine, Garnet 
• Pearls that are white or dyed in different colors that are cultured in different shapes and sizes
• Swarovski crystals (vintage and new) in clear and AB finishes and now Swarovski Crystallized Components 
• Art Glass such as Dichroic glass
• Beads (vintage and contemporary) made of Glass, Sterling Silver, Gold, or Gold Filled, genuine Venetian or Murano beads
• Findings such as toggles, clasps, hooks that are Sterling Silver, Gold, Gold Filled, or that include Swarovski crystals
